A drone is taking to the skies around a city football ground to catch hooligans and identify flashpoints at a derby clash between rival clubs.
A camera has been capturing high-definition images from the streets around Birmingham City's ground ahead of the club's game against Aston Villa.
It is the first time West Midlands Police has used a drone to police a football match.
Aviation rules mean the device cannot fly over the St Andrew's stadium.
Public safety
It is also prohibited from getting too close to residential properties.
From heights of up to 400ft, officers are inspecting areas in which there have been flashpoints in the past and looking for new ones.
