Fit-again West Ham talisman Michail Antonio keen to start against Aston Villa after being out of action for three games due to a hamstring injury

Michail Antonio took to social media last week to hail the return of fans to stadiums.

It is safe to say the sentiments he expressed will be mutual.

‘I’ve missed you,’ Antonio wrote in an Instagram post to West Ham’s supporters.

He has only been sidelined for three and a half games with a hamstring problem, the damage limited by the international break.

But Antonio, back in contention and keen to start against Aston Villa after rebuilding his fitness over the last fortnight, is West Ham’s influential talisman.

They carry a significantly greater threat with the versatile 30-year-old spearheading their attack.
