Everton dealt double injury blow as Abdoulaye Doucoure is ruled out for at least a month after being forced off with groin injury in defeat to Aston Villa, while Fabian Delph is also sidelined leaving the Toffees with a midfield crisis

Everton's misery has been compounded after the club sustained another injury blow as Abdoulaye Doucoure has been ruled out for at least a month.

The midfielder was forced off in the 65th minute of the Toffees 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Goodison Park last Saturday.

The club confirmed that the 29-year-old underwent tests following the game which revealed he had sustained a groin injury and will require a period of rehabilitation for a minimum of four weeks.
