Eddie Howe has claimed the Barclays Manager of the Month award for February after guiding his side to three wins and a draw.
The resurgent Magpies claimed 10 points from a possible 12 with victories over Everton, Aston Villa and Brentford as well as a draw at West Ham.
The results saw the northern outfit distance themselves from the relegation battle and they now sit 14th, 10 points clear of the bottom three.
Speaking after receiving the award in front of the squad, Howe said: 'I'm very pleased, obviously, and it was a nice feeling, but it was nice to share it with my team.
