Middlesbrough have announced the signing of former Barcelona youngster Adama Traore from Aston Villa.
The 20-year-old winer arrives at the Riverside for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year deal with Aitor Karanka's men.
Adama joined Aston Villa last summer, but managed only appearances for the club - including one on the Championship this season. Largely forced to sit on the sidelines through injury, the youngster was unable to show the talent which he displayed whilst on the books of LaLiga giants Barcelona.
Known as a pacy and tricky winger, Adama scored one goal in four appearances for the Barca first-team, as well as excelling at reserve level - scoring eight goals and registering 18 assists in 63 games.
