Premier League scouts descended upon French second division side Amiens' match with Le Havre on Friday.
Stoke City and Crystal Palace were among those represented who ran the rule over Amiens midfielder Guessouma Fofana during his side's 2-0 win.
Aston Villa and Bournemouth also checked on the 24-year-old, who is valued at £4million.

The scouts also took the opportunity to watch Le Havre's £10m-rated left-back Ferland Mendy.
The 21-year-old is a target for Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Monaco who expect to lose Benjamin Mendy this summer with Chelsea, Manchester United and City all keen.
