It’s never a wise decision to get involved in an altercation with an official and Aston Villa’s Leandro Bacuna has found that out the hard way.
The Dutchman aggressively barged into the linesman in Villa’s game against Derby County last Saturday and has now received a hefty six-game ban for the incident.
The 25-year-old has already sat out one match of his suspension, having missed Tuesday’s win over Bristol City, and manager Steve Bruce has expressed frustration over the length of the ban.
