Aston Villa Women have called off their next two matches after an unnamed player tested positive for coronavirus.
The club revealed on Friday that their Super League fixtures against Bristol City - due to have taken place tomorrow/on Sunday - and Chelsea, on October 17, would be rearranged.
Sportsmail understands that just prior to lockdown, Villa's women began training at a new location away from the main Bodymoor Heath base, which is where Dean Smith's first-team squad prepare for matches. There is not thought to have been any recent contact between the men's and women's teams.
