Aston Villa are hoping to wrap up a deal to sign Sevilla left-back Marcos Acuna by the end of Thursday, according to reports.
The Argentina international has been linked with a move to the Premier League for much of the summer transfer window and Villa now appear set to secure his signature.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the club will begin a new round of talks with Sevilla today to try and agree a fee for the 31-year-old.
Personal terms have already been settled with Acuna as Unai Emery attempts to continue a summer of heavy investment in his squad.
