Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack is prepared to extend his loan with Melbourne City.
The Scotland international has scored five goals in his first seven games for Warren Joyce's side including a stunning free-kick against Perth Glory on Friday.
The 31-year-old is due to finish his loan on January 26 and his form has prompted enquiries to Villa from English clubs weighing up potential loans.
However, McCormack is tempted to stay until the end of the A-League season in May as he continues to rebuild his confidence and scoring touch.
