Aston Villa are ready to end Roberto Di Matteo's reign as manager after just 122 days at Villa Park.
The former Chelsea boss, who won the Champions League with the Blues, could be out of a job in as soon as 24 hours - following Villa's 2-0 defeat at Preston which left them 19th in the Championship table.
A penchant to concede late goals means Villa have recorded only one win from their first 11 games, leaving them only two points clear of the relegation zone, whilst they were also knocked out of the EFL Cup in the first round after being embarrassed by League Two Luton.
