Aston Villa are lining up former Brighton and Watford boss Oscar Garcia – in case they decide to show Steve Bruce the door.
Bruce has made a shaky start to the season and his side currently sit 18th in the Championship.
It has led to claims the former Hull City and Sunderland boss could be axed unless he turns things around.
Pressure on Bruce is growing every game and it will now ramp up as, according to Sport, Villa are eyeing up Garcia.
The Spaniard is currently managing St-Etienne in France and he has started the season well by guiding them to 4th in Ligue 1.
