Aston Villa have third £7.5m bid for Middlesbrough forward Morgan Rogers turned down... as Unai Emery insists he wants to keep Jacob Ramsey despite interest from Newcastle and Bayern Munich

Aston Villa have had a third offer of £7.5million plus add-ons rejected for Middlesbrough forward Morgan Rogers who is valued at around £12m.

The 21-year-old joined Boro in a £1million transfer from Manchester City last summer and has impressed for the Championship side this season, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists in all competitions.

Should Rogers leave Teesside this month, City will receive a sell-on fee as part of the deal.

Speaking on Monday, Villa boss Unai Emery said he remained hopeful to add a couple of players before deadline day.
