Aston Villa 1-1 Wolves: Visitors miss out on chance to climb out of the relegation zone as Danny Ings comes off the bench to earn Unai Emery's side a point after Daniel Podence's first-half opener

Wolves missed out on the chance to climb out of the relegation zone following Danny Ings' 79th minute equaliser for Aston Villa.

Daniel Podence opened the score after 14 minutes and it looked like Wolves would take a valuable three points away from home.

Ings, who has been linked with a move away from the club, came off the bench and lifted the ball over Jose Sa after an excellent pass by Tyrone Mings.
