Aston Villa 1-1 Brighton: Late Jack Grealish equaliser denies visitors the title after Glenn Murray scored penalty

Brighton missed out on the Championship title after conceding a last minute equaliser against Aston Villa.

With Newcastle ahead at St. James' Park, Brighton needed a win to secure the Championship crown that their season had deserved.

It fell to their top scorer Glenn Murray to convert a spot kick that seemed to have secured victory for the visitors. But Jack Grealish scored an equaliser late on to deny them the title and send the title to Newcastle.
