FULL TIME: Aston Villa 1-0 Chelsea

John McGinn's goal is enough to hand Aston Villa a 1-0 win against Chelsea's youthful side, after Armando Broja left on a stretcher with a nasty injury in the first half.

Hutchinson rattled the post after McGinn's seventh minute opener and the Blues could well have had a penalty on another day, but all in all there was little impetus from Graham Potter's side as Aston Villa defended well.
