Anthony Martial DENIES claims he refused to play in Man United's draw with Aston Villa as he would 'never disrespect the club and the fans' after Ralf Rangnick said the striker did not want to travel

Anthony Martial fiercely denied claims made by Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick, who said the Frenchman had not wanted to be part of Manchester United's squad for their 2-2 draw at Aston Villa.

Martial wants to leave United, with Sevilla interested in signing him this window. United had only eight players on the bench, including two goalkeepers, as Rangnick dropped the bombshell that Martial had been unwilling to travel.

'He didn't want to be in the squad,' said Rangnick. 'He would have been in the squad normally, but he didn't want to. That is the reason why he was not travelling with us yesterday (on Friday).
