Wolves striker Patrick Cutrone is 'set to join hometown club Como' after an underwhelming three-year stint in the Premier League, with the £16m flop following Cesc Fabregas to the Serie B side

Wolves striker Patrick Cutrone is reportedly set to head back to his home town and sign for Serie B side Como after making just 14 Premier League appearances for the club.

Cutrone joined the Midlands club in 2019 for a fee in the region of £16million but he has struggled to make the desired impact at Molineux.

The Italian's inability to discover his best form saw him leave Wolves on multiple loans to Fiorentina, Valencia and FC Empoli.

According to Gianluca di Marzio, Cutrone is now set to sign a three-year contract with Como, the city he was born in, running until 2025.
