Steve Bruce says only his Newcastle players can answer the question as to whether he has lost the dressing-room.
The head coach believes he retains their support but admits he does not know what they are truly thinking.
'I'm the wrong one to ask,' he said. 'I saw nothing wrong with them at Arsenal (2-0 FA Cup defeat) and Liverpool at home (0-0 draw).
'So you'll have to ask them, and do your rounds on them. I still believe, yes, but we can't accept that performance the other night (1-0 defeat at Sheffield United).
