Unai Emery has faced the challenge of learning English head-on since he was announced as our head coach in May.
The Spaniard conducted his arrival press conference in English and has been taking lessons ever since. On Thursday, he showed how much he has improved when he held his first media briefing at our training ground.
Unai also spent some time with Arsenal Media and he explained why learning the language is critical for him.
“For me and for my staff also, it’s very important, the communication with all of the club,” he said.
“With Ivan, with Raul, with Sven, with the people who are working here and then with the players.
