Houssem Aouar has revealed that he is happy that he chose to stay at Lyon despite interest from Arsenal.
The highly regarded midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal during the transfer window.
However, as the deadline edged closer, Aouar ultimately ended up electing to remain at Lyon.
As reported by Get French Football News, when asked if his choice was simply between joining Arsenal or staying at Lyon, Aouar said: 'No, not necessarily. But it is true that at the end it was basically that.
