Our under-21s exited the Bristol Street Motors Trophy following a 3-0 defeat to Peterborough United on Wednesday evening.
The League One side took a commanding lead in the first half with two goals courtesy of Ryan de Havilland and Jonson Clarke-Harris. Our efforts to mount a comeback were dealt a further blow when Malik Mothersille added a third shortly after the break, extending Peterborough United's lead.
Khayon Edwards had his penalty saved as we tried to force a way back into the game but our run in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy came to an end.
