Our under-16 side have lifted the 2024/25 Premier League Cup for the first time after beating Chelsea in the final 3-1.
Played at the west Londoners' Kingsmeadow home, both teams came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half when Chelsea winger Ryan Kavumba-McQueen hit the woodwork either side of our forward Kyran Thompson doing the same, but we snatched the lead seconds before half-time when Josh Tahou set up Thompson to score from close-range.
Then on the hour mark, a fine pass from Malik Haashi allowed Josiah King to escape behind the Blues' backline and he showed good composure to finish past keeper Isaac Collinson to make it 2-0 and give us breathing room.
