Tottenham legend Pat Jennings, 78, collapses before Spurs' clash with Chelsea before being rushed to hospital in north London

Legendary goalkeeper Pat Jennings has been taken to hospital after he collapsed before Tottenham's clash with Chelsea on Monday evening.

Jennings, 78, was in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch former club Spurs in action against their fierce rivals but fell ill before kick-off.

Mail Sport understands that the Northern Ireland legend was assessed by stadium medics in north London before being taken to a local hospital.

Positively, Mail Sport also understands that Jennings was said to be feeling better later on in the night.
