Tottenham 1-1 Arsenal: Vivianne Miedema rescues Gunners a point with dramatic stoppage-time equaliser in hard-fought North London derby

Vivianne Miedema's stoppage-time equaliser rescued a dramatic point for Arsenal in a 1-1 draw against rivals Tottenham at the Hive stadium on Saturday afternoon, in a match which could have big implications for the Women's Super League title race.

After a first half of few chances, Spurs striker Rachel Williams scored the opener from close range just after the hour mark.

Arsenal made the most of their possession, Dutch striker Miedema stealing in at the back post to level late on and break Spurs hearts.

Jonas Eidevall's side retain their four-point lead over Chelsea, who have played a game less, and a five-point gap over Spurs which would have been two had the hosts held on for the victory.
