Supermodels like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell would greet him by his first name while even the formidable Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine and one of the most influential figures in the world of fashion would start her day with 'hello John.'

With chubby cheeks and a boyish East End smile, John Groeger is not the face many would associate with the iconic Vogue magazine - but that is what he inadvertently became as head receptionist at Vogue House, the renowned London headquarters of the legendary publication considered the 'bible' of fashion, design and lifestyle.
