All eyes were on the UEFA Women’s Nations League as Mariona Caldentey's Spain played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg of the final against Germany.
Heading to the Fritz-Walter Stadion in Kaiserslautern for the opening leg, Mariona played the full 90 minutes, but her side couldn't break down a stubborn German defence, who kept the score goalless. The second leg takes place on Tuesday, December 2 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.
In the third-place play-off, Stina Blackstenius got on the scoresheet, but it wasn't enough to prevent Sweden from losing 2-1 against France in stoppage time.
