Southampton have signed former Arsenal and Manchester City goalkeeper Stuart Taylor on a one-year deal.

Taylor was without a club last season after leaving Leeds in the summer of 2015, but will now provide back-up for first choice goalkeeper Fraser Forster and back-up Alex McCarthy at St Mary's.

Having also previously played for Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa, the 35-year-old has made just 95 professional appearances during a career which began in 1999.
