Southampton 1-0 Arsenal: Jan Bednarek scores as Arsenal suffer third defeat in succession and endure a further setback in quest to secure top four finish

Jan Bednarek's goal saw Southampton beat Arsenal 1-0 to inflict further damage on the Gunners in their quest to finish in the top four.

After Tottenham lost to Brighton, Mikel Arteta's side were looking to go level on points with their north London rivals.

However, Southampton scored just before the break and managed to hold on to take all three points.
