Sheffield United pair Ben Brereton Diaz and George Baldock are back in full training and could make their return from injury against Arsenal.
Cameron Archer faces several weeks out with a calf issue, while Mason Holgate is serving a suspension.
Arsenal's Thomas Partey could make his first appearance since October after coming through training unscathed.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu will also be assessed and Gabriel Jesus could feature as well.
"He's fit enough, but knowing how long he will last is something different probably," said Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta of the Brazilian, who has been nursing a knee injury.
