'One of the greatest tactical fouls of all time': USA's Kelyn Acosta is lauded by fans for his half-way line lunge on Gareth Bale that prevented Wales star a last-gasp chance to win their World Cup clash... with goalkeeper Matt Turner miles out of positio

USA midfielder Kellyn Acosta has been praised for his 'great' tactical foul that denied Gareth Bale scoring a potential winner in their 1-1 draw with Wales.

It was in the ninth minute of stoppage time when goalkeeper Matt Turner came way out of his goal to head clear the danger as they hoped to hang onto the point.

The Arsenal back-up's clearance, however, fell into the feet of former Real Madrid star Gareth Bale who looked to pull the trigger.
