Arsenal in the Community participants enjoyed a special evening at The O2 Arena on Wednesday, January 11.
Twenty-four hours before the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers took to the arena for their NBA regular season match as part of the NBA Global Games London 2017, the youngsters from St Aloysius College and Islington Panthers basketball club had the chance to get out on the court and work on their skills.
As well as making use of the state-of-the art facility, the youngsters also met NBA legends Isiah Thomas, Dikembe Mutombo and Ronny Turiaf.
Head of Arsenal in the Community Alan Sefton was impressed by the session: "I was amazed at how much our Islington youngsters knew about these former players from NFL and how excited they were to meet them and get their tips.
