My favourite shirt with Brian Talbot: The classic white Admiral England kit I made my debut in against Northern Ireland in 1977... I even managed to come off the bench and assist the winner!

To play for England really was a boyhood dream come true. At 13, I’d travelled from Suffolk to Wembley to watch the World Cup final. We could only get one ticket so my mum let me go in on my own while she watched the game through the window of a TV rental shop!

Given that history, you can imagine the feeling when I got the call-up by Don Revie in 1977 and went on as a substitute against Northern Ireland in Belfast. I even managed to set up the winner for Dennis Tueart.
