Mikel delighted to have more options to rotate

Having seen a number of our squad return from injury, Mikel Arteta feels that he now has many more options when it comes to his team selections.

Having previously made very few changes to his starting line-up this term, the boss believes that the likes of Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson as well as his January acquisitions have given him much more licence to tweak his team depending on the opponents.

Saturday saw Leonardo Trossard replace Eddie Nketiah up front, with Gabriel Martinelli returning to the team out wide and Arteta believes that flexibility to rotate will be vital, especially as we now face the prospect of six matches in 19 days starting with the visit of Everton on Wednesday night.
