Mikel Arteta watched his Arsenal team leave Bayern Munich's unbeaten record in tatters at the Emirates and warned that his young side can still get better.
Goals from Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke and Garbriel Martinelli helped Arsenal sweep Bayern aside 3-1 and end a run without defeat for the German champions that had stretched back all season.
'This was an incredible match against the best team in Europe,' said Arsenal boss Arteta.
'We were immense, how hard we worked. The margins are tight but this is a massive victory.
'We have been very consistent all season but it's just the beginning.
