But having signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates recently, one fan decided it was time to dedicate some praise to the German playmaker by compiling his 33 best passes in a Gunners shirt for a viral video.
The compilation currently has more than 48,000 views with Arsenal fans waxing lyrical about the elegance and quality shown by Ozil during the six minute video.
