Mehmet Ali is leaving his role as men’s under-21s head coach to join Brentford.
Mehmet joined us as our under-21s assistant coach in January 2022, and following a positive six months, he took on the role of head coach for our under-21s. During his time with us, as our Professional Development Phase lead, Mehmet played an integral role in the development of many players in their career pathways into senior football.
Mehmet joined us from Reading, where he was under-21 head coach, and had also previously worked as a youth coach at Tottenham Hotspur. He now joins the Brentford coaching team as a men’s first-team coach.
