Beth Mead has been nominated for the BBC Women's Footballer of the Year award.
After an incredible, career-best WSL season which saw her bag 11 goals, eight assists, and 72 chances, our winger from Whitby then took the UEFA Women’s Euros by storm. England’s Lionesses strode to victory, with Mead picking up the Golden Boot and the Player of the Tournament award in the process.
Mead has already received a host of recognition this year, including nominations for the Ballon d'Or and UEFA Player of the Year. She was voted your Arsenal Women's Player of the Season for 2021/22.
