19-year-old German midfielder Arne Maier plays for Hertha Berlin, but he has a few bigger names watching him.
Both Manchester United and Arsenal are considering making a move in the January transfer window for Maier, according to The Sun.
Similar rumours arose in September, but with January approaching and a decent few games in the Bundesliga under his belt since then, there is some renewed interest.
Arne Maier has been likened to German veteran Toni Kroos, and with a number of caps for Germany at youth level, he will be hoping to follow Kroos into the German national team when Joachim Low announces his next squad.
