Folarin Balogun had our first chance of the afternoon when he raced through on goal, rounded Gavin Bazunu but saw his shot from a tight angle come back off the post.
With just over 15 minutes remaining of the first half, Balogun came close again when he turned and shot from the edge of the box, forcing Bazunu to make a smart save.
