Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is set for a scan on hamstring injury that forced him out of Bayern Munich clash - but Dutch star is hopeful it's 'not too bad'

Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is set for a scan on a hamstring injury suffered against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.

The 28-year-old was replaced in the 66th minute of the clash at the Allianz Arena after suffering an injury as Pep Guardiola's side came out 4-1 winners on aggregate after a 1-1 draw on the night.

Speaking to Sky Sports News after the match, Ake confirmed that he is set for a scan on Thursday to reveal the extent of his injury.

He said: 'I've had it before and it feels a little bit less, to be honest, but you never know with these things.
