Lyon 'will look to re-sign Alexandre Lacazette this summer on a free transfer after failing in their attempts to bring him back from Arsenal in the January transfer window'

Lyon reportedly attempted to re-sign Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette last month but will now try to bring him back in the summer.

The Ligue 1 side sold the forward to the Gunners in a £53million move in the summer of 2017, and the Frenchman has gone on to score 70 goals in 192 appearances at Emirates Stadium.

But the 30-year-old - who has scored five goals in 22 appearances in all competitions this season - now has just five months remaining on his deal in north London and there are no signs as yet the club or the player are willing to extend his contract.
