Mohamed Elneny played the full 90 minutes as Besiktas recorded a 4-1 home win over Genclerbirligi. Floyd Ayite put the visitors in front in the first half before Domagoj Vida's 49th minute leveller. Georges-Kevin Nkoudou put Besiktas in front before goals from former Gunner Oguzhan Ozyakup and Atiba Huthcinson made sure of the victory.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan came on in the 63rd minute of Roma's 2-0 home loss to Torino. Andrea Belotti broke the deadlock in added time at the end of the first half.
