Ainsley Maitland-Niles put in a solid midfield performance in Southampton's 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace. The Saints will now face Charlie Patino's Blackpool in the fourth round after the Seasiders cruised to a win against Nottingham Forest. Patino featured for 68 minutes in the 4-1 upset.
Tim Akinola and Chesterfield were robbed of a huge upset over Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion, when the Baggies equalised deep in stoppage time. The 3-3 draw means a trip to The Hawthorns for a FA Cup replay next week.
