Folarin Balogun scored his first goal for Middlesbrough, but couldn’t prevent them from falling to a heavy 4-1 defeat at Sheffield United. The Blades raced into a three-goal lead before the hour mark with Sander Berge, Billy Sharp and Jack Robinson before our on loan striker pulled one back. Balogun pounced on a Wes Foderingham slip and slotted home into an empty net for the first league goal of his senior career. But Boro weren’t able to mount an improbable comeback as Morgan Gibbs-White added a fourth for the hosts.
