Lille midfielder Renato Sanches has given Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta the green light ahead of the January transfer window.

The Portugal international has endured a rollercoaster career winning two Bundesliga titles at Bayern Munich, before flopping at Swansea City.

The 24-year-old has rediscovered his top-flight form, returning to glory in Ligue 1 with Lille last season.

But Sanches has admitted he is ready to move away from the French side in favour of Europe's elite.
