Juventus' 10-point deduction hands Arsenal a surprise boost in next term's Champions League... with the Gunners now set to avoid a draw with Real Madrid as the Italian giants drop out of the top four race

Juventus' 10-point deduction could have consequences beyond just the Serie A table, with Arsenal set to benefit, too.

The Gunners' season has ended on a bitter note - despite the side qualifying for the Champions League for the first time since 2015-16 - having let slip a healthy lead in the title race in the run-in.

And although they were guaranteed a second-place finish, their UEFA coefficient makes for less encouraging reading, following several underwhelming European campaigns.

A failure to qualify for any European football last season and their perhaps surprising round of 16 defeat on penalties to Sporting means that the Gunners rank just 23rd on the coefficient table.
