Jurien Timber to miss Brighton match

Jurrien Timber won't be available for our trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Brentford on Wednesday night.

The Dutchman was booked in the 17th minute of our 3-1 win at the Gtech Community Stadium which saw him reach five for the campaign in the Premier League, and as such he will now be forced to miss out against the Seagulls at the Amex Stadium through a one-match suspension.

Players had until the end of the 19th game of the season to avoid picking up five yellow cards and the resulting ban, meaning that Jurrien and Gabriel Jesus were the only Gunners walking a tightrope against the Bees with four to their name.
