Joao Cancelo claims his shock Man City exit to join Bayern Munich has 'NOTHING' to do with his relationship with Pep Guardiola, despite their furious training ground BUST-UP after he was left out of Arsenal starting XI

Joao Cancelo has denied that a training ground bust-up with Pep Guardiola led to him leaving Manchester City.

Cancelo completed his shock move to Bayern Munich on Tuesday, with the Portuguese star joining the German champions on loan until the end of the season. Bayern have an obligation to buy him for £61.5m in the summer.

Cancelo was involved in a furious training ground argument with Guardiola after learning that he would not be starting City's FA Cup clash with Arsenal last Friday, but he has claimed that this incident did not cause his swift exit.
