Jamie Carragher blasts two Liverpool players after 2-0 Merseyside derby defeat at Everton - as Reds icon bemoans 'giving silly fouls away and getting the crowd up'

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was scathing of his former side after their 2-0 defeat at Everton, singling out two players in particular for critcism.

Goals from Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin saw Everton secure their first Merseyside derby win since October 2010.

The result leaves a bitter taste two-fold for Liverpool with their title hopes severely damaged with four games left of the season.

Jurgen Klopp's side sit second in the table at present, three points behind Arsenal. However, third-place Manchester City have two games in hand on Liverpool and are only a point behind.
